Academy of Dance Arts

Students who attend the Academy of Dance Arts are given the opportunity to perform at a variety of community events throughout the year and in the studio’s annual recital.

Shows are venues for students to perform the dances they have learned in class.  These performances are scheduled at a variety of community events, such as the PQ Fiesta, RBAlive, Cancer Relay, San Diego County Fair and more.

Dance Troupe

At Academy of Dance Arts, competition teams promote leadership skills, goal setting, personal responsibility, self-discipline and teamwork. Our competition teams compete in four competitions each year. Three are local and one is held at the inspiring Disneyland Hotel. The competition teams consist of groups in the different dance genres at different age levels. To learn more about the competition team, stop by the studio.

One of the main highlights of the dance season is our annual studio recital. All season, we focus and work toward this event, developing the students' skill levels and self-confidence with the many performances and competitions. Academy of Dance Arts recitals are not just another show: they are complete productions with a theme, acting parts, professional lighting, stage scenery, multiple costume changes and all the magic of theatre!
